Praise Song Lyrics For Sunday, August 2, 2020
To God Be The Glory

To God be the glory, great things He has done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son.
Who yielded His life, an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the earth hear His voice.
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the people rejoice.
O, come, to the Father through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.

O, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God.
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the earth hear His voice.
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the people rejoice.
O, come, to the Father through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.

Great things He has taught us,
Great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus, the Son.
But purer and higher and greater will be
Our wonder our transport when Jesus we see.

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the earth hear His voice.
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Let the people rejoice.
O, come, to the Father through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.

The Way Of The Cross Leads
Home

I must needs go home by the way of the cross,
There's no other way but this.
I shall ne'er get sight of the gates of light,
If the way of the cross I miss.

The way of the cross leads home(leads home).
The way of the cross leads home(leads home).
It is sweet to know as I onward go,
The way of the cross leads home.

I must needs go on in the blood sprinkled way,
The path that the Saviour trod.
If I ever climb to the heights sublime,
Where the soul is at home with God.

The way of the cross leads home(leads home).
The way of the cross leads home(leads home).
It is sweet to know as I onward go,
The way of the cross leads home.

Then I bid farewell to the way of the world,
To walk in it never more,
For my Lord says come and I seek my home,
Where He waits at the open door.

The way of the cross leads home(leads home).
The way of the cross leads home(leads home).
It is sweet to know as I onward go,
The way of the cross leads home.

Jesus Loves Even Me

I am so glad that our Father in heaven
Tells of His love in the book He has giv'n.
Wonderful things in the Bible I see,
This is the dearest that Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me.
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

Tho' I forget Him and wander away,
Still He doth love me wherever I stray.
Back to His dear loving arms would I flee
When I remember that Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me.
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

Oh, if there's only one song I can sing
When in His beauty I see the great King.
This shall my song in eternity be.
Oh, what a wonder that Jesus love me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me.
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.

Standing On The Promises

Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring.
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God.

Standing, standing,
(standing on the promises, standing on the promises)
Standing on the promises of God my Savior.
Standing, standing,
(standing on the promises, standing on the promises)
I’m standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail.
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God.

Standing, standing,
(standing on the promises, standing on the promises)
Standing on the promises of God my Savior.
Standing, standing,
(standing on the promises, standing on the promises)
I’m standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises, I now can see,
Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me.
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,
Standing on the promises of God.

Standing, standing,
(standing on the promises, standing on the promises)
Standing on the promises of God my Savior.
Standing, standing,
(standing on the promises, standing on the promises)
I’m standing on the promises of God.

Victory In Jesus

I heard an old, old story.
How a Savior came from glory,
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me.
I heard about His groaning,
Of His precious blood's atoning,
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory.

O, victory in Jesus.
My Savior, forever,
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood.
He loved me ere I knew Him,
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.

I heard about His healing,
Of His cleansing pow'r revealing,
How He made the lame to walk again,
And caused the blind to see.
And then I cried dear Jesus,
Come and heal my broken spirit.
And somehow Jesus came and brought
To me the victory.

O, victory in Jesus.
My Savior, forever,
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood.
He loved me ere I knew Him,
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.

I heard about a mansion
He has built for me in glory,
And I heard about the streets of gold
Beyond the crystal sea.
About the angels singing,
And the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I'll sing up there
The song of victory.

O, victory in Jesus.
My Savior, forever,
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood.
He loved me ere I knew Him,
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.
